My art lessons are creative, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals. Whether you are a beginner learning core techniques or an advanced student preparing a portfolio for college or university, I provide structured guidance to develop both technical skill and creative confidence.

I teach drawing (pencil, ink), painting (oil, acrylic, watercolour), and mixed media, combining traditional methods with contemporary approaches. Lessons often include warm-up sketching, technical exercises, and project-based tasks that develop your individual voice. For students preparing for A-Levels or applying to art courses, I support portfolio building, personal statement writing, and concept development, ensuring your ideas are clearly communicated.

My experience includes teaching and facilitating in creative settings such as the Natural History Museum, Science Museum (Yaji Zimingzhong exhibition), and Tate Modern Lates. I also participated in the Coronation Concert, further broadening my public engagement experience. I hold an MA in Museum and Gallery Education from UCL and an MA in Contemporary Art Practice from the Royal College of Art, which deepens my understanding of both education and professional practice.

I believe that art is not only about mastering materials but about expressing one’s ideas, emotions, and perspectives. My lessons aim to build a strong artistic foundation while encouraging experimentation, critical thinking, and reflective practice. Students are invited to see art as a means of responding to the world around them — socially, environmentally, and personally.

’m here to support your creative journey and help you develop the confidence and skills to express your unique perspective through art.
