Learning English need basic two things. The bravery to speak and speak often, and the ability to listen for pronunciations and imitate. In my lesson, I’ll encourage all students to not be shy and speak whenever they can. Our lessons will be conversational, not lecture style, so you can learn it by practice.
There will also be supplementary materials for basic sentence structures, especially in cases there different language uses different structures. For example, English and Japanese used completely reversed structures, while Chinese and English are quite similar.
In a professional setting, you’ll learn professional lingo, but colloquials will be used sparingly in certain situations to show that ‘you get it” it is a fine line to master and I’ll teach you that.
I went to international school from being in a Chinese school, where I get to practice English with people from all over the world. Then in college I talk to Americans exclusively. After graduation, I work in the professional works and learned what to and what not to say and in what way. I have the full spectrum of experience to ensure a foreign learner will be able to speak at least conversational English in a heart beat.
