I am a native Chinese and currently in the UK on a graduate visa. In China, I got my teaching qualification and National Mandarin Grade Certification. I don't think it's hard to learn it if you are interested enough in mandarin. As long as you listen, speak, write and read more and more on a daily basis and keep practicing, you can quickly put what you have learnt into practice. Although I don't have much experience, I can customise different teaching methods to suit different students' Chinese levels. Chinese is a language that is easy to recognise but not easy to write, but once you have mastered its pronunciation skills and writing order, and with practice, you will surely master it very quickly. Once you have mastered the language, you will find that it is actually very interesting and can convey a lot of things.
