During our lessons together, you will:

- Get to learn songs that you are passionate about
- Have fun learning
- Gain fundamental theory behind what you are learning
- Receive guidance to achieve your goals as a killer player, or beyond as a performer and/or songwriter

The format goes as such:

We will start each lesson with a warm up - fingers and picking exercises. We will then go into what you learnt the previous lesson and build upon it (or start something new if it's your first lesson!). We will move onto a new thing part way through the lesson so you will have two pieces/exercises to go away with until our next lesson.

During our first lesson together, I will gauge where you're at in your playing and tailor a plan to suit you, and then we will jump into an exercise!

For a beginner - we will start with the fundamentals of the guitar, how to strum, and the basic chords. The first thing I teach is a simple blues progression with some blues licks, this is a great grounding to begin with. We will then move onto songs that interest you and build up your armoury of techniques, songs, riffs and solos from there!

For those with playing experience - the lessons will be tailored around what techniques are important for you to learn to progress your playing even further.
