Hi there, I’m Will!
I am a PhD Student at the university of Warwick. I work in the department of chemistry and my work focuses on developing A.I. Controlled chemical reactions!
I currently teach in the university undergraduate course and have been voted by 5e students at the graduate teacher of the year! I work in one of the most cutting edge laboratories in the UK, and have first hand experience of some of the most incredible analytical techniques, scientific instruments and the most amazing reactions! I have been involved with a broad range of chemical reactions even worked with chemicals that catch fire spontaneously in air!
My teaching style is to encourage students to explore topics by making lessons a conversation, where students feel comfortable to ask questions and be curious about the subject matter!
My own expertise is in chemistry, specifically analytical, organic, synthetic and instrumental chemistry, however my research also means that I am well versed in physics, maths, programming and engineering! I currently have two degrees, a BSc and an MSc, and have spent time studying and working in Canada.
I’m really looking forward to sharing all that I’ve learnt in my studies with the next generation of aspiring scientist and encouraging them to explore beyond the textbook! I know that studying can be an extremely stressful time, so my goal is to put my students at ease and make them feel comfortable exploring the scientific world at their own place, fostering their curiosity to help them excel in their studies!
