The approach to learning I like to take is step by step, working from the basics up to the real details, allowing the student to learn at a pace which suits them and what they are aiming to achieve, I believe its really important to see the bigger picture when learning a subject therefore not just understanding the knowledge out a book, but understanding and applying it in the real world. I have experience tutoring for family friends with GSCE level students, which has been great for understanding what works in sessions and what doesn't, allowing the experience to be tailored to each student.
