Hi! i'm Viktoria, I am a Neuroscience student at University with a passion to teach!
I am confident, fun, and eager to teach! I have recently completed a 6-week TESOL programme in Italy, teaching English in many different children's camps all over Italy, and it was incredible. I am now completing my TESOL which is due to be finished in September/October. I have also completed camps in Slovakia during summers as a camp mentor, teaching children, doing fun activities such as hikes and swimming, as well as doing cultural lessons and arts & crafts.
I love teaching, I have a very demonstrative style of teaching and like to get my students involved, I like to make lessons fun and educational, I want it to be back and forth and for the students to feel involved and excited to learn and in the process retain the information that is being taught. All students have different learning styles and I like to work with the student to find a middle ground where we both thrive in both teaching and learning, I believe it is important to get to know the students to understand how they learn, and in turn making me a better teacher for them.
I like to use different materials such as online flashcards, different websites, diagrams and drawings and getting the students involved in this, so they can also visualise these concepts and topics and see them on paper or in front of them as this works in active learning.
