About me

I have over 20 years experience teaching chemistry at all levels in both a one to one and group setting. I have worked for 12 years lecturing in chemistry at a large further education college and I also work as an assessment specialist, subject adviser and trainer for one of the large UK exam boards.

I have over 20 years experience teaching chemistry at all levels in both a one to one and group setting. I have worked for 12 years lecturing in chemistry at a large further education college and I also work as an assessment specialist, subject adviser and trainer for one of the large UK exam boards.
I have an excellent track record in helping students from a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities improve their subject knowledge, study skills and exam technique. I am fully familiar with all the UK specifications for A-Level chemistry including the differences in exam assessment for each board.
I like to work with individuals to tailor sessions to their personal needs. Building on their strengths and identifying and improving upon any areas where students are weaker.
