I've completed two master degrees at two prestigious universities in UK–MA Applied Linguistics at University of York in 2021 and MA Buddhist Studies at SOAS, University of London in 2023. I've taught English and Mandarin for over 10 years, focusing on private IELTS and TOEFL test preparation courses and private Mandarin courses–GCSE Chinese and HSK Chinese test.
My teaching style is communicative and student-centred, which means there is a massive amount of interaction and you can stop and ask any question when you find it difficult to follow. The majority of the class will be led by the student rather than dominated by the teacher. Ultimately the purpose of the course is to satisfy the student's learning needs rather than to showcase the teacher's language capacity.
My personality is quite chilled, compassionate and humorous. I know language learning is a tough challenge, especially when you suffer a bottleneck you can't break through. I can relate to your distress. That's why I am here to assist and empower you on this uphill journey. I can guarantee you that learning language courses will be such a rewarding and entertaining experience.
