I like to take the time to communicate and get to know my student in order to find out the best ways they can achieve what they want to do with the instrument, musically and technically.
Technique is the base for everything. I believe it's important to emphasize in this from the very beginning so you don't advance in your process with important blanks sticking in. I love to work on technique as much as I'm willing to help my students to build their sense of musicality, their own sound, to being able to internalise what their playing, to keep in mind to sing through your instrument.
