My approach is simple ……I do not pressure students as it doesn’t help ……I start by being compassionate with them by starting off on simple chords …..it’s the only way ……..getting them to learn to change chords quickly….along with a easy drumming rhythm…………and build their confidence slowly
You need to come down to there level and let them know that you were in the same place a few years
