I have over 20 years experience working across many different disciplines for companies, magazines and private clients. I have a postgraduate qualification in photojournalism and a City and Guilds in delivering learning to adults.

My lessons are focussed on the individual with the emphasis on practical learning rather than technical jargon. Lessons can be tailored for complete beginners, those wishing to progress from full auto towards manual modes as well as more advanced topics such as lighting and retouching. I am equally happy explaining things in the field or talking online.

Each lesson is designed for the individual and I like to ask lots of questions beforehand so I can understand what you trying to achieve. I am very friendly and approachable and will make sure your lesson is fun. I also understand that there many specialities in photography and although I have experience in many of them I am not an expert in everything. So if you want to learn something outside my expertise I will tell you and point you in the direction of someone who can help you.
