After two years of full experienced and +450 hours given, I am well aware of how to explain French, what exercises to do, and how to achieve your goals.

Before directly starting with tutoring, I always have a 15-20 minutes information chat during the first free session in order to get to know the student, understand his goals and how we can work our way to them.

My sessions are held online on the platform of your choice (zoom, teams, etc), and they usually last 1 hour. Through each session, I go trough at least 2 of the followings: reading, speaking, writing, listening.

One of my main point is that french should not be stressful. Although it is a complicated language, I want to make sure that our sessions are a “safe space” in which they can make mistakes and ask as many questions as they need. It is fine if they do not understand a concept although I have explained it a couple of time: it will take the time it needs.

Depending on why you need me, I will adapt session differently but always making sure to include grammar points (tenses, sentence structure, etc). I then make sure we do exercises until I am certain you have understood what I have explained and, if I am asked to, I would send further exercises to do as homework.
