I've taught OCR A level Biology to every ability level from those for whom only an A* is the only acceptable success to those for whom a D is a significant achievement.

I concentrate on identifying where you can make the biggest improvements.

I always work 1:1.

Your understanding is always the focus of the lessons.

We will cover a lot of material and we always start by working out where you are and what you need to do to get better.

You'll be talking at least as much as me.

The great advantage of tutoring over school lessons is that I can give you my full attention and fully investigate what's holding you back.

As we get to know each other and learn more about your individual needs and strengths, you'll increasingly be driving the lessons.

We'll systematically work through the entire syllabus identifying what you need to do and helping you stay in control and make improvements every day.

I use a wide variety of approaches and techniques to find a way forward that's individual to you.

In every lesson I'll be guiding you to find and fix the holes in your understanding, find and fix the habits and study practices that might be holding you back, find and fix the unhelpful ideas you might have about your own ability.

My teaching is as individual as you are.
