Hi, I am Tania and I currently study Geography at Cambridge. I have experience tutoring many different subjects at different age ranges. At A-level, I tutor Geography, French and Economics. At GCSE, I can tutor for Maths, English Language and Literature, Sociology, French, Economics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I can also provide university advice, on application tips and personal statements, attending Cambridge myself and having previously successfully mentored students to get into Oxbridge.

My tutoring style depends on the students. Most commonly, I tutor by going through topics the student finds difficult, revisting these topics with the student with active recall and then focus on building knowledge in layers. I also go through school work, or set practice tests to ensure there is progress being made. I also provide feedback on essays and exam practice and other times I go through content by the specification making sure they are confident on everything. Some students ask for school lesson style PowerPoints, and others would like to simply review what is taught in school.

I have tutored on different platforms before, and have worked in a tuition center. I am confident teaching kids who may have learning difficulties such as dyslexia or ADHD, and can also adapt my lessons according to individual needs. I also do some volunteering on the side, and have tutored with platforms such as ZeroGravity.
