Getting an explanation from a different perspective can be very helpful. Going through a topic slowly and thoroughly promotes understanding and mastery. I like to use lots of charts and draw things out very clearly.

I like to base this off your own specific needs. This can be focused on something as specific as an assignment, or one concept. I can offer advice on completing writing assignments as well as the helping with the content. I can proof read writing and help with structing essays.

This could also be as broad as an entire unit or entire course. While I mainly use visuals and comparative explanations, I also like to make notes with analogies and summaries of things that we talked about after a lesson.

As I am a practicing clinician myself I am able to offer help with interprofessional education and learning as well. This is relevant in other health care professional courses. I have worked with pharmacy students, nursing students, and students aiming to attend university for related fields.
