Welcome to my English lessons!

I like to keep my lessons fun, interactive and individually focused on what you want to get out of it. Whether you want top grades or academic support, I can assist in boosting your confidence in both exams and developing key revision strategies.

We’ll cover everything from your reading skills, comprehensive writing, literary analysis and exam paper structures in a way that makes learning english exciting. Each lesson involves engaging presentations with visual stimulants and video examples to make the material more interesting. We’ll also engage in creative exercises such as discussions, popcorn reading and feedback on writing tasks to encourage active participation. I also use mini quizzes and english games to keep students motivated and focused throughout the course of lessons.

With my background in mentoring students in PSHE and reading skills, I’m experienced in presenting lessons to students and giving one-on-one advice to mould to each student’s preferred learning style. I also have been involved with volunteering in the NHS which has taught me patience and empathy, which means I’m able to create a safe and warm environment. I do have a love for English as a previous A grade student at both GCSE and A-Level.

Our lessons would mix structured learning with room for creativity tasks and discussion so you don’t miss a single opportunity to learn in each lesson.

My goal is not just to tutor students to achieve higher grades but to also help them develop a genuine interest in the English subject. By the end of each tutoring session, you will feel more confident than you entered.
