I have experience tutoring at a centre, where my goal was to help students achieve the highest grades possible. However, I found that my teaching is most effective when I can tailor lessons to each student’s needs, using my own resources and strategies.

In my sessions, I break down top-band essays and high-scoring answers, helping students understand what excellence looks like and how to achieve it. I also teach the study techniques that helped me earn top grades, proving that they can do the same. My lessons go beyond content—I focus on exam technique, answer structure, and time management to maximize results.

To keep students engaged, I use interactive discussions, model answers, and real-time feedback, ensuring they leave each lesson with a stronger grasp of the subject. I also provide extra resources, such as Light Up Hub, so they can continue improving outside of class. My goal is to not only boost their grades but also build their confidence and skills for long-term success.
