I have been teaching for over 25 years in secondary schools and 6th forms. I can adapt my teaching style to suit your needs. Either online or in person, the sessions are designed to suit you depending on your strengths and areas for development, whether you need to focus on content, revision techniques or exams skills.
My particular strengths are modern history, and Russia and Germany specifically. However, all periods of history and topic areas can be catered for.
I am an examiner for both A level and GCSE and have been for over 20 years. I currently work for Edexcel but teach AQA at my current school. I have also successfully tutored students for other exam boards.
I have been tutoring for a number of years now. Last year my GCSE students did not achieve below a grade 8 and all A level students gained above a grade B. This year my A level students have done very well in their coursework, all gaining above 33/40 marks with 2 achieving full marks.
