My teaching is all about you and enabling you to achieve your goals. I love finding ways to make the learning process accessible to all and watching students grow in confidence.

I have a passion for the English language and took my first degree in English Literature. I have a teaching qualification from the University of Cambridge and achieved a distinction iny Master's degree. I am currently a doctoral student in the English Department at the University of Warwick.

I have years of teaching experience to non-native and native English speakers in compulsory and non-traditional settings. I have taught all ages, from pre-school to under-graduate. I am currently teaching on the Creative Learning Team in a large Arts Centre.

I am a published author and playwright and have experience in editing so am confident iny ability to prepare work (dissertation or article) for publication. Before teaching, I worked in television and radio for the Independent Sector and for the BBC. I also ran theatre-in-education teams.

I am a fluent second language speaker of Welsh and do understand the joys and obstacles of communicating in another language.
