Stephanie Ilston

I am a Qualified Primary Teacher, with seven years experience and experience working with pupils with SEND.

I love to make the lessons engaging and interactive, so there will be lots of interesting things to do so you can get involved!

I like to use concrete and pictorial resources to help solidify understanding and explore concepts in different ways, until we find a way that makes sense!

I have a keen eye for detail and I care about my students' progress. I am patient and caring, so we will work at a pace that suits you and I am happy to go over concepts and keep practising or revising until you feel confident.

I have taught hundreds of different students so I can adapt my methods to what will help you learn best.

Making mistakes is how we learn and I provide a supportive tutoring service, so you know that it's okay if we don't understand something the first time- it just helps us remember for the next time!

I also have extensive experience working with different SEND pupils and my sessions are tailored to how you learn best and what you need.
