I graduated from Cambridge with a first-class degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences in 2021, before undertaking MA Political and Legal Theory at the University of Warwick. Since leaving university I have been volunteering as a humanitarian aid worker in Moldova, Cyprus, and most recently Ukraine (where I'm now based, which is why I am only able to offer online lessons.) As a graduate of two multidisciplinary degrees, I'm competent in a range of human, social, and political sciences from GCSE through to degree level. I am also available to advise students of all ages on study skills, research methods, essay writing, and the Oxbridge application process.

My tutoring is student-led, so in our first session we'll establish a clear idea of what you want to get out of our time together - your personal goals, what you enjoy about the subject, what you struggle with and what you'd like to improve. I'll also try to get an idea of what does and doesn't work for you in the classroom so I can adapt our lesson plans accordingly. Do you find rote memorisation helpful, or is putting concepts into your own words the way to improve your understanding? Is comprehension where you need to improve, or do you have that part down but need to build more confidence in your own analyses? Are you struggling with poor concentration or feeling overwhelmed, and need someone to help you break things down or find your focus?

After six years of studying a wide range of subjects (from literature and languages to philosophy and neuroscience) and a LOT of trial and error, I've found what works for me as a student. Get in touch to arrange an introductory session and let me help you find what works for you! I take a holistic approach to your success and if we work together then I will be with you every step of the way - whether that's through personal statements, UCAS applications and Oxbridge interviews or simply giving you the academic and research tools to satisfy your own curiosity about complex topics. As you progress, we'll check in with each other regularly to make sure you're getting the best out of our sessions together.

Finally, I was diagnosed with autism during sixth form college, just as I was starting to get serious about my studies - so if you are struggling to tame your autistic or ADHD brain and wondering why everything feels so hard then I would love to discuss some techniques for managing these traits and protecting your emotional wellbeing while pursuing your academic goals :)
