To start the lesson, we initiate a discussion about the topics covered in school and address any challenges or issues the student may have encountered.
Next, we shift our attention to the homework assigned and identify any questions or problems that the student found challenging or couldn't complete. This allows us to pinpoint areas that require further attention. I assess their understanding of the topic through testing to determine whether they need additional time to grasp the concepts or if they are ready to progress to the next topic. This helps in planning the sequence of topics and ensures that the student feels supported and confident throughout the learning process.
After addressing the previous topic, we move on to cover the new topic in the lesson. I employ engaging teaching methods and adapt to the student's learning style to ensure optimal understanding and retention.
As we approach the end of the lesson, I assign homework that aligns with the newly covered topic. This homework is intended to reinforce the concepts learned and provide an opportunity for independent practice. It may consist of exercises, problem-solving tasks, reading assignments, or any relevant activities that support the student's learning objectives.
