My music lessons have a basic structure but also have enough flexibility built in, to ensure that my students fully comprehend and understand the learning objectives. I hold a Masters Degree in Music, an ARCM (Royal College of Music) a PGCE (Leeds University) and, an MBA (Leicester University). I have taught GCSE, Advanced Level syllabuses and prepared students for college entrance exams and public recitals.

I have over twenty years experience of teaching various syllabuses including Edexcel AQA and Eduqas and a proven track record of preparing students for instrumental conservatoire entrance auditions.

I continue to perform to the highest level and freelance as a professional musician as well as being employed as a music teacher to advanced level by Merchant Taylor’s’ Oxfordshire Academic Trust.
