With a decade of experience in the humanitarian sector, coupled with a Master's in Psychology and a PGCert (Level 7) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, as well as being a Full Member of the British Psychological Society, I have gained a deep understanding of wellbeing practices tailored to individuals' mental and emotional health needs in diverse contexts.
Recognising that many individual's mental health needs often go unmet, I shifted my focus in January 2024 to establish My Psychological Wellbeing (MyPWB), a private practice dedicated to providing tailored mental health support to those in need. Building on this, I developed a mental health awareness workshop focused on capacity and resilience building, which will launch by mid-2025. The workshop will provide practical strategies for key mental health issues, improving wellbeing, and fostering resilience in demanding situations, drawing on evidence-based techniques tailored to the humanitarian context.
In my practice, I advocate for a collaborative approach. Working with me is not a spectator sport—it's an active partnership. Whether we are addressing mental health-related issues such as anxiety, burnout, or depression that impact daily functioning or tackling specific situations that cause heightened mental health stress, such as delivering a presentation or preparing for first deployments, relocations, etc, I tailor my approach to your unique needs.
I integrate evidence-based techniques and personalised strategies to empower you to navigate challenges and cultivate resilience. Between-session exercises are incorporated to enhance learning and promote mastery of life.
