In my interactive sessions, I strive to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere where you can truly thrive. During our introductory lesson, I’ll take the time to get to know you and assess your strengths and weaknesses in essay writing, topic knowledge, and any other areas you’d like to improve. This friendly assessment will help us pinpoint your specific needs and set a solid foundation for our future lessons together!

Each subsequent session begins with a brief recap of previous topics to ensure understanding, allowing us to build on your knowledge effectively. I alternate between key psychological concepts and research methods, keeping our discussions fresh and engaging. By intertwining these areas, I ensure that you gain a well-rounded understanding of the subject.

I focus on both theoretical knowledge and practical application, integrating real-life examples that resonate with your experiences. For instance, we might analyse a current psychological study or discuss its implications in everyday life, making the material more relatable. Drawing from my experience as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, I adapt my teaching style to meet your individual learning needs, using visual aids, practical exercises, or tailored discussions as appropriate.

Throughout each session, I actively encourage dialogue because I believe it enhances understanding and helps you develop strong arguments for essay writing. We might explore different viewpoints or dissect case studies together, allowing for deeper insights into the subject matter. Toward the end of each lesson, we’ll consolidate our learning by creating an essay plan that addresses AO1 (knowledge and understanding), AO2 (application), and AO3 (evaluation) skills related to the day’s topic. This hands-on approach reinforces the material and equips you with valuable skills for your assessments.

I always ensure there’s time for you to ask questions at the end of our session, fostering an environment of curiosity and reassurance. This not only reinforces your understanding but also boosts your confidence in tackling complex topics. Overall, my goal is to make learning enjoyable and impactful!
