I've trained creative writing and english for many years. I've written multiple short stories and popular stories for fan communities. I studied the great writers–Stephen King, Brandon Sanderson, George R. Martin and so on. My game plan for my students would be to nuture their creative voice and ability to structure a story. The basis for this would be the outline and discovery phase, a phase of writing that begins the entire process. Then we will move onto the research phase, making shre every part of your story is throughly explained for you in a design document so you don't create plotholes! For my discovery writers we will help solidify your ability to jot down information you use to come back to and create a deeper cohesion between your narrative voice and character writing. We will go over different character achetypes and what you should try ti push in your stories. My go to genres have been adult science fantasy with a focus on realistic characters with flaws. We will also study Japanese managa and see what style and conventions they use as compared to many British and American authors. I hope that through my teachings you can become a better student and teacher in your own right. The teachings and the techniques I will show you will not just be useful in your writing, but in your daily life as well. athe ability to write more freely and expressively would be so useful in many company settings and will allow you to become just that much more perceptive. The growth of your narrative voice will help you with public speaking and growing better and communications, as if you're writing your own dialogue. Creative writing is a fantastic subject to learn, whether or not your goal is to write.
