My teaching method is simple, if the work is fun then you will remember it! Boring work never sticks in your head. Learning is a fun process and there are ways to make understanding English so enjoyable.

Lessons with me would focus a lot on your comprehension, because once I help you understand the core fundamentals the rest all falls into place. Whether it’s GCSE/A level revision or preparation, learning the language further or wanting to develop your own knowledge already.

I like to tailor my lessons to the students or individual, I want to know what activities tend to keep your attention and what don’t, what aspects you enjoy about learning and what you don’t. This way, we can make the class fun and memorable for you and teach you what you need to know without it feeling like a chore.

I work with worksheets I have designed but also online recourses too, writing exercises, verbal conversations, repetition, note taking and quizzes are all parts of my lesson plans. I am a very organised and flexible individual and if there’s something you would like to request or work on; a specific book or kind of revision method you saw online or on Tiktok, that is something we can work on including!

There is a quote by the famous and brilliant Boris Pasternak that goes “Literature is the art of discovering something extraordinary about ordinary people, and saying with ordinary words something by extraordinary.” And I think that is brilliant.
