Savannah Edmeade

The aim of my study sessions is to improve your spelling, punctuation and grammar. You will be able to have more fluid conversations with native English speakers. I offer help with targeted exam revision, applications, email and essay writing whenever needed. I aim to make all of my sessions easily accessible and fun by using challenges and games to make learning not feel like a chore. I am friendly and outgoing and will make sure that our sessions are a judgement free space so you can feel confident and safe to contribute. As someone that has high level qualifications and a passion for English language and literature I am well equipped to provide you with accurate information and knowledge. I will provide useful sources that will help you in your everyday life as well as academically and will track your progress with small tests, aimed at targeting the areas that you need more help with. Some of the methods of teaching I like to use include writing based tasks, listening based tasks and speaking based tasks which will all help your interpersonal and conversational skills and allow you to improve your pronunciation. For my more advanced level students I will recommend short novel extracts to read where you will learn to find deeper meanings and analyse text. You will learn simple literary devices and techniques and will be able to use them in your speech and writing. These sessions will come with a power point or word document so that you can follow the lessons along and use them to revise previous topics. I look forward to teaching you soon!
