I have been a fully qualified EFL teacher since 1989 and have taught at various schools in the UK and abroad. I was the English Director of Studies at the University of Southampton SU from 1998 to 2011, and since then I have been a self-employed EFL teacher.
As a child I went to international schools in Sweden and Lebanon, so I have many international friends, as well as teaching many international students!
The class is YOURS - you practise what YOU want and I will add anything else I think you need. Everyone is unique and learns in different ways, so as I get to know you, I can adapt my teaching to suit you for the best results!
The things you need are; a good English dictionary, a bi-lingual dictionary and a grammar book for your level (I can recommend the books), a pen, a highlighter, a pencil, a rubber, a notebook for the classes, a small notebook for vocabulary (to carry around), an A4 lined pad for writing, confidence, belief in yourself and motivation (the last three are the most important).
Special offer: If you would like to continue after the first class, you can book 5 classes in advance and get another class free!
Please note: Try to give me at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a class, then we can rebook at a mutually convenient time. If you do not show up for a class, there will not be a replacement class or a refund.
I look forward to meeting you, whoever and wherever you are!
