Hi! I'm Sarah. I have 5 years of experience as a teacher of English as a foreign language. I have worked in three different countries, as well as working online. I have experience teaching standard English, business English, exam prep and more. I have also worked with students as young as three years old, and students of all different abilities.

I like to keep my lessons as fun and engaging as possible. For this, we'll use a variety of games in addition to conversation and worksheets. If you're looking for help with grammar or exam preparation, then the lessons will have a stronger structure, but games will still be involved.

an average lesson with me will be split into four sections:
Introduction: This is where we'll talk a little about our day, what we've been up to, and what we'll be focusing on in this lesson. If there's anything in particular you'd like to work on, just let me know in advance!

Introducing the topic: We'll go over the basics of the grammar/vocabulary/exam topic that we'll be focusing on, and work through any areas you're unsure of.

Building Knowledge: This is where the games will start! This is a more guided section of the lesson, where we can work through how much we know about the topic, and continue to build on it, using it in real-life situations, and creating scenarios of how and when to use it.

Free learning; More games and more fun, based on the lesson topic. We'll go a little more in-depth on the topic and ensure we have a full understanding. We'll also link it to previous topics that may be useful, and discuss aims for future lessons.
