About me

Hi, I'm Sarah and I have a BA Hons in Language Studies majoring in French and Spanish. I have 7 years' experience as a private tutor in French and Spanish. I also have 5 years' experience as a Translator and 2 years' experience as a Public Service Interpreter.
I teach all levels from complete beginners through to intermediate and advanced including students preparing for their GCSEs and A Levels...
Hi, I'm Sarah and I have a BA Hons in Language Studies majoring in French and Spanish. I have 7 years' experience as a private tutor in French and Spanish. I also have 5 years' experience as a Translator and 2 years' experience as a Public Service Interpreter.
I teach all levels from complete beginners through to intermediate and advanced including students preparing for their GCSEs and A Levels. I love enabling and motivating my students to enjoy their lessons and excel in language learing. I aim to find creative and interesting ways to make lessons fun and relevant.
Lessons always include a mix of conversation, grammar principles and vocabulary customised to either my students' educational level/syllabus or their individual purpose for language learning. I use a variety of interactive resources to suit all learning styles and am always open to students' ideas to enrich and facilitate their individual style of learning.

Sarah is a very good tutor who is really making a difference to my Spanish with our weekly lessons. We're working through a range of topics and covering new vocabulary and grammar as well as focusing on the correct pronunciation. We've recently moved from on line to in person lessons and this definitely works better!
