I have been teaching for over 5 years and have experience across the primary school ages. Sessions would be tailored to the individual and would be flexible depending on their prior knowledge and the progress they make. Where possible, I prefer to guide learners to find their own discoveries, ensuring they fully understand what they have learnt, rather than simply being able to repeat provided information. I want students to take responsibility and ownership over their learning, creating invested and enthusiastic learners. We all learn best when we feel comfortable and at ease, so I would work to ensure I provide a safe and nurturing space where any learner feels respected and willing to ask questions so as to improve their understanding. Sessions are not just limited to children, anyone who would like to improve their understanding of subjects such as maths and English is welcome.
