Experienced AQA GCSE English Tutor (as well as in humanities)

I will cut to the point. I achieved two grade 9s in English literature and language. I am well-versed with the AQA marking criteria and how to be on top of your game: from how you can move from a 5 to 9 because I have done it. The ability to write critical, exploratory essay responses gets harder and sometimes homework isn't enough? I am now an A-level student studying English lit, maths, econ and politics. I will give you a comprehensive and perceptive understanding of English literature and language. Even if your not the most perceptive student, yet, I will take your current set of English grades/or other humanities and skyrocket them. It is difficult to be nuanced and developed so I will go from basics how to perfect your thesis, topic sentences and short-embedded quotations which are judicious to writing a full-fledged argument. The set texts I studied were Macbeth, Jekyll and Hyde and Power and Conflict Poetry but I am familiar with other parts of the specification such as a Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, Romeo and Juliet and Love and Relationships. Topics like unseen poetry is standardised for everyone. I will also be very comfortable in offering tutoring for Geography (Edexcel) , Religious Studies (AQA) and History (Edexcel) which I achieved 9s. I am determined to make sure price is not a limiting factor as I also do want to help as much people as possible and gain life experiences so if there is a problem with starting rates then please do raise this. Off the bat, I would be hard-pressed to say the price would be £9 per session. It goes without saying, I am empathetic and approachable, I know how much it takes to commit to studying and the challenges it takes especially if that subject is not your forte so being understanding in tutoring for all abilities is sacrosanct. My methods are efficient in not just applying the content with the exam technique but truly understanding it too - active recall methods and spaced repetition built for long- term memory. Please note: I will recommend online lessons but understood that it is your hard -earned cash, will not be deterred by face to face lessons especially if you feel that will improve the quality of your learning.
