Different people will struggle at different sections of the exams, Physical / Human or 4 / 6 / 9 marker questions. Maybe struggling with the difference between 'Explain', 'Describe', and 'Evaluate'? Don't worry I was in the same shoes as you before. Together we can prepare for your struggles.
The format session will always begin with a Q&A with the students on the topic they would like to discuss - maybe an improvement on a 6-marker from a Level 2 answer to a Level 3 answer. After the Q&A, we will focus on what the class is teaching to check the current understanding of the topic by the students, maybe throw an example style question in there too for practice :) To end the session, I will give you one exam question from a past paper for you to have a go and complete by the next time we have a meeting!
In terms of the dynamics of the lessons, I would really like to be equal and bounce ideas off each other by evaluating the information from school classes, online sources, or even personal experiences. I DO NOT want the students to feel obligated to have a perfect answer. We can discover that together by winding our knowledge and discussing it in short sessions.
Please consider me to be your tutor!
