I am a passionate person dedicated to helping people become confident in themselves and their work. I have previously taught Biology to Year 8 classes, in which I taught them the content and provided them with worksheets so they can apply their knowledge. As well as this, I have also worked with Year 7 Maths classes and have marked Year 7 exam papers. This helped me understand common mistakes made within Year 7s, which showed me the gaps that I could fill in to improve their scores. My typical layout for lessons is to begin with a starter, then provide the student with new content and then worksheets and questions to check their knowledge and fill in any knowledge gaps. I am very patient when it comes to students, so I am more than comfortable to work at a pace that the student is comfortable with, and I am open to answering any questions at any time to ensure that the student feels secure in their knowledge. I like to provide a safe learning environment for students, making them feel heard and appreciated. I take pride in making sure that students know that they have the full potential and capability to achieve greatness as long as they put the effort in. I believe that as long as a student tries their best, they have done themselves proud. All we can ask for is for a student to try their absolute best. I strive to aid students with their studies in order to make them proud of their knowledge, but most importantly, proud of themselves.
