Engaging experienced Maths teacher with 10 years GCSE teaching experience

I've been a school teacher for about 10 years and have held head of Key stage 3 and 4 positions with specialisms in SEND.

I've made resources for students of different needs and of different ability levels. I've taught classes with students who are motivated to work and students who are not, top sets, middle sets and bottom.

My classes have a high success rate and those who put in the work progress well and achieve high grades in their assessments. those who do not put in the work I use a variety of techniques to ensure they achieve their potential.

My philosophy in regards to Maths is that if you understand the work well then you'll remember better and can apply it to different questions easily.

So my priority isn't just to teach in a way that makes Maths even more boring for you, it's to ensure you understand the logic behind what you're taught. This makes the knowledge more embedded into your memory. In summary Maths will be made easy for you so you can tackle GCSE questions more easily.
