Asking questions and encouraging students to ask questions
Co-relating the topics to daily applications
Motivating student
Starting with simple tasks, topics and discussions and gradually building the foundation and concepts
For example
Students attend a classroom lecture about ecological diversity, I would encourage them to watch a video about a conservation group their motivation to preserve local habitats.
Then discussing what they understand about ecology and environmental preservation
Research the effectiveness of clean energy in their community
Thus giving a direct instruction easy understanding of the topic and discussion to clear any questions.
