I have the experience of working with children who have literacy and numeracy difficulties and have different levels of learning abilities, I work to enhance the skills they have or require so that they can go forward with their education.
I like to work to the strength of each individual and try to enhance the level of learning that learner may need, My lessons are fun and enjoyable with learning the main focus, I like my pupils/students to feel comfortable so that they do not have any issues in asking questions regarding their work or progress, make learning fun is my motto. When lessons are not fun and enjoyable the results usually show in the output if work the pupils put in, so having fun whilst learning, for me works best. I think that learning is about giving each pupil the opportunity to question things even if they ask multiple times as this gives them the encouragement to be able to identify and understand the work that they are completing, all students have a say in what they are good at and what they are not so good at as this gives the tutor the information on what he /she needs to do to support that pupil throughout their journey. Every pupil is different and have different levels of learning, I think that once you find the strength of that pupil and assist in enhancing it then the difgi ulties with other parts of their learning will become easier to complete.
