One very useful method that I have discovered whilst studying in all subjects, but particularly geography, is the app “one note”. One note is a great app to simplify and organise whole courses into just a few pages. I beleive there is no “correct” way to study, it’s about finding what suits you the most, which through experience I can help find study techniques that are fitting and work best for you. This not only benefits your knowledge of the work but also can make you more motivated and therefore easier to study (which is a hard thing for a lot to get into habit of). My lessons can vary depending on the person, personally I think “one note” is a great way to start. I can create a shared notebook on “one note” for me and the student to use,, this makes it easy for me to write up notes and for the student to upload any questions or topic areas they may be finding difficult. Another thing I would stress that is important is past papers! These are essential to look at and complete especially 3-4 months before your exam. Completing past papers makes it a lot less stressful when it comes to the actual exam and is a great way to understand the types of questions that you might be asked.
