Since January 2020, I have taught over 1,500 hours of online ESL tuition to a range of students; varying from Chinese young learners to Polish and Spanish businessmen. I have taught a range of ESL lessons from English for young learners to English for business and academic purposes. I have used a range of sources to deliver my ESL lessons from textbooks to PowerPoints. I have used a variety of platforms to deliver my lessons including Chinese platforms to deliver my lessons to my students in China. Prior to my recent experience, I completed a year’s placement as an ESL teacher to young learners in France in the 2016/2017 academic year. This is in addition to my experience in teaching sixty Chinese adult ESL learners at Nottingham college’s summer school in 2019. Away from ESL, I have been spending my evenings teaching French and Italian to American students online through another platform. I have prepared each of my lessons to adequately focus on a theme and a grammar/vocabulary point in French or Italian.
