Having been a classroom teacher up to and including a Vice Principal, I am well versed in the requirements of staff and students when it comes to teaching and learning.

I am aware of the up to date expectations of lessons to ensure maximum learning and retention of information is achieved.

My lessons use real world examples and allow students to understand the world around them. Geography can be daunting with the amount of information expected to be remembered. However, by breaking this in to manageable chunks in logical orders helps students to not only to understand the information but make higher level inferences. this then allows then to go on to examinations and give full details answers thereby gaining the top marks.
