Now a 3rd year medical student at a World Top 3 institution (UCL) behind Oxford and Cambridge, I have been able to successfully navigate my own academic career and would like to support students with their understanding of content, exam technique and preparation strategies so that they too can excel.
As I have found in my own experience, there is no upper limit in terms of potential for grade improvement. A dedicated candidate with the right guidance is capable of achieving the highest grades. Practice is the most important asset in a student’s preparation so I like to cover knowledge gaps in the syllabus before turning to sets of practice questions to tune the student’s knowledge of question wording and what exactly examiners want to see you demonstrate with your answers. It is not enough to know the contents of the syllabus back to front, nuances is question and answer format are also key considerations which I have experience with in the context of several exam boards.
I have tutored a number of students in the past and we have found success in the final exams without exception. As long as you are a dedicated and hard-working candidate, there is no reason why we cannot do the same.
My personal achievements include 5 grade 9s and 5 grade 8s at GCSE (10 A* equivalents). And 2 A* and 2 A at A-level (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Extended Project Qualification)
I am taking a year out for the academic year of 24/25 and I am free to support students with online lessons (specialising in A-level Chemistry and Biology). Please feel free to get in touch.
