For beginners: I start by building all the basic coordination and knowledge necessary to start playing songs and feeling comfortable around the instrument so we can build upon a strong foundation. As we progress we’ll learn to develop skills in autonomy and with the ability to self-criticise/have an ear for improvement so that even off lesson time you can keep an efficient practice time on your own. The more advanced you are the more personalised the lessons will get as there is so much to explore and we all want to go somewhere different. Ultimately we can reach any goal of yours while having a great time :) when the lessons get harder I make sure to keep giving accessible information or to make the lesson as enjoyable as possible as it is most important for me to have you be able to see yourself improving in real time.

For intermediate/advanced: If you are an advanced player already, gigging, knowledgeable and already quite technical, I offer coaching type of lessons where we can explore how to get even better the quickest possible and present tons and tons of material to explore to keep improving and keep drumming a rewarding experience. I’m comfortable teaching how to develop chops of all kinds, double bass playing, rhythm vocabulary, odd times, polyrhythms, or just studying specific genres in depth. We can also work on challenging songs and study the art of getting better faster, by learning efficiently.
