With a strong background in biology and years of hands-on laboratory experience, I excel at simplifying complex concepts into digestible and engaging lessons. Whether we’re discussing cell biology, genetics, or ecosystems, I ensure that my students not only understand the material but also develop the confidence to apply it.

I use a variety of formats to keep lessons fresh and impactful. We’ll work through past papers to build exam confidence and focus on problem areas, reinforcing key concepts along the way. I also incorporate presentations, diagrams, and videos to make lessons more engaging and visually stimulating. Depending on the student’s preference, I can break down challenging topics step-by-step or explore real-world examples to bring biology to life.

My teaching method is student-centered. If a student learns best through visuals, I’ll integrate videos and images. For those who prefer hands-on approaches, I’ll guide them through activities that help them internalize the material. I am patient, approachable, and adaptable, ensuring that each session is productive and encouraging.

My experience tutoring National 5 Biology students has taught me how to identify individual needs and customize my approach to suit them.
