I plan to format my lessons in a range of ways, speaking with your children first to ensure they are learning in the way they want and best suits them. I will go through the curriculum at their pace and focus on aspects they struggle with. I will help them understand the content and make notes and go through exam questions if needed as well. I use a range of resources to supplement my teaching e.g PowerPoints, worksheets, analysis/notes and exam practice. I am open to suggestions on how to individually tailor my lessons - feel free to ask any questions! I aim to teach mostly essay subjects at high level e.g English and, as an ambitious student myself, have achieved top marks in these subjects (A*). I will use my own notes to explain and provide detailed analysis and understanding of texts and subjects. I understand not everyone wants to do exam practice in their lessons - I give the optional choice to be given homework/exam questions if wanted. My approach focuses on clear explanations, interactive discussions, and practice exercises to reinforce understanding. I'll break down complex concepts into manageable parts and encourage students to boost confidence. I provide regular feedback to help track progress. Ultimately, my goal is to foster a supportive environment that helps your child thrive and learn. I have extensive experience working with children - from being a tutor, to an after school teacher, to a holiday club leader and a babysitter, I know how to adapt myself to every child and how to provide a warm environment where they can grow and am eager to do so!
