However, if there are any other methods students would like to use, I am happy to incorporate this into lessons to help them as much as possible.

My subject areas include Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, Combined Sciences and Psychology.

I believe that learning should be fun as well as being the foundation for future careers/goals.
Questions I have been asked many times before have been 'How can I apply this learning to real life?' or 'Why do I need to know this information?'. In my opinion, these are valid questions which I can certainly address as it is so important for students to understand the purpose behind why they are learning something as opposed to simply just learning the content . I encourage my students to ask as many questions as they feel they need to. There is no such thing as a 'silly question'.

I believe that a positive and patient approach is key in helping students learn as it improves students confidence, helps them understand that it's okay to make mistakes and provides them with the tools and knowledge to reach solutions.
