Science should be fun, even the more difficult concepts. I use a variety of engaging power point lessons, YouTube videos and fun resources, highlighting the key aspects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in a modern way.
I use past paper exam questions for KS4 and KS5 and offer revision maps tailored to all topics at all levels.
1-1 tutoring should always be relaxed and friendly and I ensure my students feel happy and comfortable in all lessons.
There a summative and formal assessments throughout my sessions, which include fun interactive games and I always ensure my students take the best that they can from each session.
I have a real passion for Science, so much so I am currently back in University for my 8th year of study!
I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in both Biology and Chemistry at secondary school and University level and hope to become a forensic pathologist. I tailor some of my lessons in the field of forensics to make it more interesting and link your learning to case studies. Forensics encompasses all of the sciences in many aspects and learning about evidence and capturing assailants via the use of advanced scientific techniques can be really fun!
I love escape rooms in reality and online and have lots of fun on adventures with my 2 dogs, both rescue sighthounds.
I am a mum of 3 daughters, all of whom have had benefited from my passion for science in their school studies. Although they often refer to my ability to turn everything in life into a science lesson! :)
