I’m a first year pharmacy student, able to tutor Alevel and GCSE students

• I volunteered as a GCSE science tutor during year 12 when I was Head of Chemistry to
help students who really struggled. This was beneficial as it taught me how to be
adaptable as we’d tutor groups of students with different strength and weaknesses so I
was constantly aware of when and which students were struggling in certain topics and
when they were confident. I also had to put help put confidence in the students as they
didn’t think they would do well, which could really affect their potential.
• I worked as a GCSE maths tutor online, which gave me more experience. I had to
figured out what the student struggled on by going through past papers then would plan
a lesson based off of the questions they found hard. .This is boosted my interpersonal
skills, time management and organisational skills
