Initial session to asses what level you are currently working at, what the aims are, what exam board you will be sitting, where you might be struggling etc

After this the focus of each session may differ depending on the individual needs of the student. No student is the same and everyone has different needs and it is really important to adapt work to meet the students specific needs.

Course content, dependant on which level you are working at and which exam board you will be sitting and where the student feels as though they may be struggling.

This could include sessions on how to effectively revise and different revision techniques, as learning course content without the knowledge of how to effectively revise will only get you so far!

Exam prep - exam prep is such an important part of tutoring, you can have all the knowledge in the world but you need to know how to effectively answer exam questions to ensure full marks for each specific exam board. Time management

Exam paper practice to take home - I will provide past papers for students to do in their own time, and go through these exam questions together question by question to review answers, where we can improve. Practice makes perfect and getting direct feedback on practice questions is the perfect way to do this.

I have plenty of experience studying Psychology, this has been the last 9 years of my life and I have gained knowledge that I feel I can pass on. Studying psychology has also given me the knowledge of how to study effectively, learning the psychology of revision which is such an important tool.
